Good Afternoon CFTP,First and foremost I want to give a huge thanks for Coach Michelle's programming over the past six weeks! She did an amazing job as you all have seen in your personal records set over this past week.Secondly, I want to tell you how impressed I am for your commitment and drive. We have 9 teams now signed up for WODsomniac! That is incredible. Not only am I impressed with your drive but also how seriously you all are taking it. There has been a huge shift over this past week. Can you feel it? The friendly competition at the gym has become more competitive. People are asking for programs to make them stronger. You all are taking charge of your fitness and I love it. There is something special about competition that brings out the best in us. You now have a purpose to your daily workouts. You now have something you are working for. You aren't doing it only for yourself but you have a team that is depending on the best you come October. I make my biggest strides when I have something I am prepping for. Stay dedicated. Stay healthy. Know your body and work within what your body can handle. I can't wait to compete with all of you in October.Lastly... YAY! The nutrition challenge will come to an end this week. We have the BodPod coming back tomorrow to retest. We will also be doing the benchmark WOD on Tuesday to find a winner in that category. Give us the week to figure out points and the winners. If you want to be in the running for the body fat percentage loss category then make sure you get me both results of your BodPod. Congratulations to everyone who stayed on track during this challenge. I can't wait to see your improvement.On the 16th of August we will be hiking Timp! This hike is going to be so much fun. I hope you all can make it out.I appreciate all of you and the hard work you put in. It doesn't go unnoticed. Your improvement is more than I can ask for. Stay dedicated and always strive to go the extra mile... (Sometimes literally). Don't doubt yourself. You are capable of so much and the only limitations you will have will be self imposed. Once again, take care of your body. Be smart with your training. Do not push through injuries... Modify and heal from those injuries. Pushing through soreness and pushing through pain, due to injury, are two totally different things. I want you to push because that's where you improve but my purpose is to have you getting ever stronger. There is no reason for you to try and take a giant leap forward just to fall two giant steps back. You know your body better than anyone else. Listen to your body.Thank you all for trusting in me and our CFTP team. Keep up the good work and I'll see you all at the box!Coach Dan
