Good afternoon CFTP,Today I would like to bid farewell to Ryan and Tara Beatse. They have been with me through this journey since day one and it is now time for them to move on. Ryan has accepted a job in Arizona. I am truly excited for them and their new opportunity and they will be missed as part of the CrossFit The Point ownership. Even though they leave us they will always be a part of the CFTP family. If you see Ryan this week be sure to wish him luck. Tara will be sticking around until the end of the school year and then joining Ryan down south.I am grateful that we have been able to go through the growing of The Point together. Dave and I will take the reigns and continue down the path of creating a service that benefits the lives of others. Here are a few of our memories we have created over the past 3 years.

Here is our nutrition spotlight from Amy Robinson:
Meal planning and eating healthy is a family affair. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics National Nutrition Month website includes a variety of games, ideas, suggestions, tools and nutrition education resources that you can use to work with your children and other family members. The daily routine you establish as a family will be what is important for maintaining long term health and a quality life – not one particular food, drink, or supplement. We should strive to share positive messages about eating that promote balancing food and drinks within an individual's caloric and energy needs. Our overall health requires a lifetime commitment to healthy behaviors that are sustainable and enjoyable, and especially in regards to physical activity. It’s important for our families to find ways to be active that we will want to continue so we avoid becoming sedentary. Fortunately, spring and summer are coming and are the best times to be outside participating in physical activity. (It also means more running in our daily WODs!) Sign up for a family fun run or join an outdoor soccer club. Spring and summer also mean fresh fruits and vegetables, so this is the perfect time to enjoy a fresh salad or grab a nice apple on the go.
