Good Morning CFTP,Exciting times at The Point and I am so excited for the future. I want to thank you all for your advice and for your help as we make this huge transition. Thank you for being so open with suggestions on new classes and on new instructors. This is a big undertaking and I am so happy that we don't have to do it all on our own. It's something that would have scared me to do 7 years ago on my own but with my CFTP family behind us I know we can make this happen and create this dream of ours.I think that is how it goes with a lot of things in our lives and why it is so important to find our "tribe" or "extended family" to help us. I believe there are many things in our lives that if we had to face them alone, we wouldn't even attempt them. So thank you for being in our corner. It is so awesome to see just how excited you all are for this change. It was funny, I was talking to one of our members and they were speaking with their spouse, a non-member, and telling them just how excited they were for the changes at The Point. The spouse was so puzzled to why they would be so excited for a gym to make changes and why they even cared about the changes. That's the difference at The Point. You all truly care about the success of our business and for the success of our gym and the success of your fellow members. It means so much to me that you all feel part of this process because you truly are. The Point is your home and we understand this and this is why when we make moves we always keep our current gym family in mind first. So, THANK YOU.This week you all will be receiving an email from PushPress. With this move we are upgrading our software to give you all more control over your membership at The Point and to better help us track our business. This email will be asking for your card information and a few other things. I would appreciate you all getting that information filled out as soon as you get it. This new system will be our new software starting July 1st. Nothing is changing with your membership except that with the new classes we will be offering, as CrossFit members, you will receive discounted rates on additional classes at Point Fitness. More details to come on these additions as we get instructors in place and the schedule figured out. Finally, I hope you all are enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend. For some of you this is a very somber time and I pray for your comfort during this time of remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Tomorrow we get a chance to remember one Hero who sacrificed his life for us and for his friends. Lt. Michael Murphy was a true leader and paid the ultimate sacrifice while fighting overseas. While "Murph" is performed in his memory, I always try to think of those closer to me who have paid that ultimate sacrifice. While their sacrifice isn't as well known to the world, I hope that they still get remembered for what they have done in protecting our freedoms.Don't forget, our class times tomorrow are 6:30, 8 and 9:30 AM. I will be creating a 4-person team option as well, so maybe be thinking about 3 of your friends that you can do this with... Or come in and try to beat your previous attempts. Also, invite your friends and family! This day is free to all and I would love to see your friends and family come in and start their Memorial Day off at The Point.See you all tomorrow and I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!Coach Dan
