Such an awesome event put on by our High team! Terra and Stacy know how to party! Really fun event this past Friday night. Can't wait until the next one.

Try new things
CrossFit has a definition of Fitness in 100 words which you can read below:

"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. I want to focus the last sentence. "Regularly learn and play new sports." I'll expand that to regularly learn and do new physical activities. I believe it is as important to always remain fit through CrossFit as it is to use that fitness outside the gym or even inside the gym.
In following that advice, I tried High Fitness out and by doing so, I opened up a whole new way to stay fit. Not only that, I was able to do something with my daughter that she loved!

We joined the High Fitness event this past Friday night and she had a blast. This past year with Covid I have seen you all getting out and using your fitness outside the gym and it makes me so happy. Many of you have taken up hiking or biking. Some of you have gotten into running and other activities during the quarantine. I see this as a positive. Not only that, I love that CrossFit and Point Fitness was able to put you into a position to be in shape enough to try these things out.
It's important to always keep yourself fit enough that when life throws curveballs, you are able to adapt and overcome.

2020 Fall Lockdown Leaderboard

Great work through two weeks of the Lockdown. Still a lot of points available these next two weeks, so it's not over. Still could see a lot of movement!

Our goal as a gym is to keep you as fit as possible. My goal is to make you fit so that you all can enjoy life outside the gym. The goal is to expand your ability to live happily. We'll provide the space and the coaching, you provide the work ethic and consistency.
